Karma Thegsum Choling Seattle

KTC Seattle is a Karma Kagyu Tibetan Buddhist meditation center under the guidance of Karma Triyana Dharmachakra, the North American seat of His Holiness the 17th Gyalwa Karmapa, Orgyen Trinley Dorje.  In 1992, at the request of Venerable Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, the abbot of KTD, KTC  Seattle began as a unique place for meditation, study and the practice of buddhism.  We have regularly scheduled meditation and study classes as well as hosting visits by Karma Kagyu teachers.

Buddhism emphasizes working with the mind.  A stable and tranquil state of mind is a kind of portable wealth, a portable store of richness, harmony, and openness, which is trustworthy in any place or situation.
